IMGW warns the inhabitants of part of the country. Level 1 thunderstorm alerts are in effect. In places, the phenomena may be accompanied by hail. Check where the weather will be dangerous.

Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued meteorological alerts.

IMGW warnings of the first degree – thunderstorms with hail

Weather forecasters issued weather warnings ahead storms with hail for provinces:

Silesianin the counties: Żywiec, Bielski, Bielsko-Biala and Cieszyn;

Lesser Polandin Podgórze poviats;

Subcarpathianin the following districts: Jasło, Krosno, loomSanok, Lesko, Bieszczady, Przemyśl, IndustryBrzozowski and Strzyżowski.

Thunderstorms are forecast, which in places will be accompanied by heavy rainfall up to 25 mm and wind gusts up to 75 km / h. Hail in places.

The warnings will go into effect at 11 a.m. and will be in effect until 21 on Tuesday.

IMGW threat forecast for Thursday

Yellow thunderstorm warnings may also be in effect for parts of the country on Thursday. Synoptics plan to issue them in the following provinces: West Pomeranian, Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Lodz (except counties in the south-west of the region).

In some regions, lightning may be accompanied by hail. Level 1 alerts may apply in the following provinces: mazowieckie, Lublin, Świętokrzyskie, Lower Silesia and Subcarpathian.

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life.
