IMGW has issued weather warnings. In most parts of the country, we will be accompanied by hot, tiring weather until the evening. In the afternoon, residents of five provinces should also watch out for thunderstorms, which may be accompanied by hail. Check where the aura will be dangerous.
Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued second and first degree weather warnings on a three-point ascending scale.
IMGW alerts of the second degree – heat
Second degree heat warnings are in force in the following provinces: Pomeranian (in south-eastern counties), Greater Poland, mazowieckie, lubelskie, Lubuskie, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, warmińsko-mazurskie (except north-western poviats), Podlaskie, Lodz, Opole, Subcarpathian, Silesian (except southern poviats), Lesser Poland (except southern poviats), Lower Silesia (except southern poviats), Świętokrzyskie.
The maximum temperature during the day will be 29-33 degrees Celsius, and the minimum at night – 18-20 degrees C. Alerts will expire between 6-8 pm on Sunday.

IMGW alerts of the first degree – thunderstorms with hail
Some places also have level 1 alerts related to storms with hail. They were issued for the following provinces:
– Greater Polandfor the entire voivodeship, except for the following poviats: Ostrzeszów and Kępiński;
– Lubuskiefor poviats: Zielona Góra, green MountainŻary, Żagań, Nowa Sól and Wschowa;
– Lower Silesiafor the entire region, except for the Kłodzko, Ząbkowice, Dzierżoniów, Strzelin and Wrocław poviats, WroclawOława and Oleśnica.
Thunderstorms are forecast, which in places will be accompanied by heavy rainfall from 15 to 25 liters per square meter and wind gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour. Hail will also fall in places.
The warning will be in effect Sunday from 2-11 p.m.

What is the second degree IMGW meteorological warning
The first degree warning predicts the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena causing large material losses and a threat to health and life. Dangerous phenomena or the effects of their occurrence strongly limit the conduct of business. Expect disruptions in daily functioning. Great caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and the development of the weather situation. Follow all instructions issued by the emergency services in an emergency. Adapt your plans to weather conditions.
What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Running a business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from activities in the area where the threat occurs, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation.
