IMGW has issued first degree alerts. Threats will be heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Check where the aura will be dangerous.
Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued weather warnings.
IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall
First degree heavy rainfall warnings have been issued for the following provinces:
– Lesser Polandfor poviats: Tatra, Nowy Targ, Nowy Sącz, Nowy SaczGorlice;
– Subcarpathianfor the counties: Bieszczady, Lesko, Sanok, Krosno, loomJasło.
Moderate rainfall is forecast, with periods of heavy rainfall, with a total of 25 to 40 liters of water per square meter.
In Małopolska, the alerts will come into force at midnight and will be valid until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, while in Podkarpacie, they will expire at 5 p.m. 19-21 on the same day.
IMGW alerts – thunderstorms with hail
In the eastern part of the country, they will give us signs storms with hail. It is supposed to be dangerous in the following provinces:
– warmińsko-mazurskiein eastern poviats;
– mazowieckiein counties on the eastern outskirts;
– Lublinin the northern and eastern counties.
Thunderstorms are forecast, which in some places will be accompanied by rainfall up to 15-25 l / sq m. and wind gusts up to 65 km/h. It may hail in places.
The alerts will be valid between 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Running a business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from activities in the area where the threat occurs, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution recommended, the need to follow messages and weather developments.
