IMGW alerts: heavy snowfall
First degree warnings against heavy snowfall were issued for the following voivodeships:
– Lower Silesia, for the following poviats: Karkonosze, Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra, Wałbrzych, Wałbrzych, Kłodzko, Ząbkowicki, Dzierżoniów, Świdnica, Wrocław, Strzelin and Oława;
– Opole, for the following poviats: Namysłowski, Kluczbork, Opole, Opole, Brzeg, Nyski, Prudnik, Krapkowicki and Głubczyce.
Snowfall is forecasted, causing the snow cover to increase by 10 centimeters in places. The alerts will be valid from 10am to 10pm on Sunday.
IMGW threat forecast for Sunday
Apart from Lower Silesia and the Opole region, Sunday is planned for most of the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria Province, the whole province Łódź Province, voiv. Opole with the exception of the eastern poviats, voiv. Lower Silesia with the exception of poviats in the north and southern poviats of voivodships Silesian, Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie.
IMGW threat forecast for Monday
On Monday, heavy snowfall is to be expected throughout the province. Warmia-Masuria Province and Podlasie and partly in voivodships Mazowieckie and Lublin.
The snow is to be joined by a strong wind, which is possible in the province. Warmia-Masuria Province with the exception of eastern poviats, as well as the entire area of the voivodeship Pomeranian and in the northern poviats of the voivodeship West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
In addition, icing may appear on the roads. Warnings are possible in voivodships West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Snow can fall heavily on Tuesday in provinces Pomeranian and Silesian. Strong wind is expected for the province. West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
