Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree meteorological warnings. There is also a threat forecast for the next few days.
IMGW threat forecast for Friday
On Friday, heavy snowfall is forecast in the south of the country. First degree warnings may be issued for the southern poviats of voivodeships Silesian and Lesser Poland.
There may also be freezing rain causing black ice. The related first degree alerts are possible in the following provinces: Lublin (except northern poviats), Subcarpathian (in the north of the region), Świętokrzyskie (in the south of the region), Lesser Poland (in northern and central poviats).

For the first day of the weekend, forecasters forecast freezing rainfall throughout the province. Subcarpathian. Snow is not expected.
