IMWM forecasts the occurrence of icing in the south of Poland. A weather hazard forecast for the next few days has been issued.
Cooling is approaching Poland. The temperature at night can drop below 0 degrees Celsius, which will mean that wet road surfaces and pavements will freeze after rainfall. Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management plan to issue icing warnings for provinces:
– Silesian, poviats: Cieszyn, Bielsko, Bielsko-Biała, Żywiec;
– Lesser Poland, poviats: Oświęcim, Wadowicki, Suski, Myślenicki, Limanowski, Nowosądecki, Nowy Sącz, Gorlice, Nowy Targ and Tatra;
– Podkarpackie, poviats: Jasielski, Krosno, Krosno, Sanok, Lesko and Bieszczady.

IMWM meteorological warning The first degree provides for the conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the area of risk, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation.
