IMGW threat forecast. Freezing precipitation and icing

Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued a threat forecast for the next days.

On Sunday, first degree warnings may appear against freezing precipitation. A threat may occur in voivodships: Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (excluding poviats located at the eastern ends), Mazowieckie (in western poviats), Świętokrzyskie (without western poviats), Podkarpackie (excluding poviats located in the east) and Lesser Poland (in the southern and eastern poviats).

Also on Monday, freezing rainfall is expected in a part of the country. Yellow alarms before them may appear in the voivodships: Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (in the eastern poviats), Podlasie, Mazowieckie (in the eastern poviats), Lublin, Podkarpackie.

There are no dangerous phenomena on Tuesday. On Wednesday, icing may occur in a part of the country. Warnings against them can be issued for the southern poviats of voivodships Silesian and Lesser Poland.

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of ​​threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal. Recommended caution, the need to track messages and the development of the weather situation.
