Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree warnings on a three -stage, growing scale.
First degree IMGW warnings – storms
Yellow alarms before storms were issued for voivodships:
- Pomeranianoutside the eastern poviats;
- Kuyavian-Pomeranianin poviats located in the western half of the region;
- Greater Polandexcluding south-eastern and western poviats;
- Lower Silesiaoutside the southern and western poviats.
In these regions, storms are forecasted, which will be accompanied by heavy rainfall from 20 to 30 l/sq m. and wind gusts up to 65 km/h. Hail may fall locally. The warnings will be valid until midnight on Thursday.

First degree IMGW warnings – strong rain with storms
Yellow alarms before strong rain with storms apply in voivodships:
- Mazowieckiein the southern poviats;
- Świętokrzyskie;
- Podkarpackie;
- Lublinin western and southern poviats;
- Lesser Polandoutside the poviats located at the western ends.
Moderate rainfall is forecast, strong periods. The height of the rain in places will be between 25 and 40 l/sq m. The rain will be accompanied by storms with gusts of wind up to 50 km/h. Alarms will be valid until 9 or 13 on Thursday.
