The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued warnings against frost. In a part of the country, the temperature at the ground will drop below zero degrees.

Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued first degree warnings.

First degree IMGW warnings – frost

First degree alarms before frosts apply in voivodships:

  • Podlasiein the following poviats: Ełk, Olecki, Gołdap;
  • Podlasieoutside the poviats located in the west of the region;
  • Mazowieckiein the following poviats: Sokołowski, Łosicki, Siedlce, Siedlce;
  • Lublinin the following poviats: Bialski, Biała Podlaska, Radzyński, Łukowski;
  • Podkarpackiein the following poviats: Bieszczady, Leski, Sanok, Krosno, Jasielski;
  • Lesser Polandin the following poviats: Gorlicki, Nowosądecki, Tatra, and Nowotarski.

There is a decrease in air temperature to about 1 degree Celsius, at the ground to about -2 degrees C. Warnings will be valid from 23 on Saturday to 6 on Sunday.

What is the first -degree IMGW meteorological warning

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of ​​threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal. Recommended caution, the need to track messages and the development of the weather situation.
