IMGW warns of a storm in the Baltic Sea. Even 9 degrees on the Beaufort scale

IMGW forecasters issued hydrological alerts. According to their messages, a storm may appear in the Baltic Sea. The wind is expected to be up to 9 on the Beaufort scale.

IMGW issued Level 1 hydrological warnings. The alerts covered the Western Coast and internal sea waters of the Republic of Poland – South Baltic, and the Eastern Coast and internal sea waters of the Republic of Poland – South-East Baltic, which are adjacent to the province of Pomeranian and West Pomeranian.

Hydrological alerts will be in effect until 15 on Saturday.

Even 9 degrees

Forecasters predict that the wind will blow from west to north-west with a force of 5 to 6 on the B scale. Its gusts may reach 7-8, and sometimes even 9 degrees on the B scale. It may blow the strongest in the south-eastern part. The sea state will be 3 to 5 on the B scale. The air temperature will oscillate around 4 degrees, and visibility should be good.
