“Gazeta Krakowska” reportedthat production will start again at the Aksam company from Malec in the MaĆopolska province as early as August 12. Thanks to the opening of one of the halls, the producer of the popular “Beskid Paluszki” will resume as much as 66 percent of production from before July fire.

Production will start in the largest of Aksam's halls, where the wall has been rebuilt and completely separated from the burnt rest of the establishment. “GK” recalled that all parts of the factory were previously connected to each other.
– Fortunately, the firefighters managed to defend the third, largest hall and I take my hat off to them for that – he commented for “GK” owner Aksamu Adam KlÄczar – That is why, although we are in a difficult situation, we can look to the future with hope. I want everyone to have a job. Employees will be employed on a two-week basis, then there will be a change of crew. This does not mean a reduction salaries. It will be complete. In our company, we have always put people first and this will not change – he emphasized.

As we have already describedthe factory in Malec caught fire on the night of 12-13 July this year. The fire completely destroyed one of the halls, in which the roof collapsed. The second hall, which has already been rebuilt, was only partially destroyed.
Consumers decided to support the company that produces their favorite snacks by buying Aksam products shops. The campaign spread throughout the country, and internet users were the ones who encouraged people to buy it. “Let's buy 'Paluszki Beskidzkie', supporting socially responsible business and domestic capital, which, even in the face of huge losses caused by fire, maintains a human face towards its staff” – wrote on platform X Jarek Jakimczyk, a journalist from the KompromatRP.pl portal, is involved in the initiative.
