IMWM threat forecast for Wednesday

On Wednesday, there will be stronger winds in parts of the country. IMWM strong wind alerts may be issued in the following voivodeships:

Pomeranianin the following counties: Słupsk, SłupskLębork, Wejherowo, Puck, GdyniaSopot, Gdańsk and Nowy Dwór;

Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipin the following counties: ElblÄ…g, ElblÄ…g and Braniewo.

Strong winds will continue the next day. Warnings are expected in the following voivodeships:

Pomeranianin the following counties: Słupsk, Słupsk, Lębork, Wejherowo, Puck, Gdynia, SopotGdańsk and Nowy Dwór;

West Pomeranian Voivodeshipin the following counties: Świnoujście, Kamieński, Gryfice, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Koszalin and Sławno.

What is the IMWM first degree meteorological warning?

The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life.
