Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued level 1 warnings.

IMWM alerts – frosts

Frost warnings are in effect in all over the country. At night, the air temperature is forecast to drop to approximately -2 degrees Celsius, and at ground level to -5 degrees Celsius.

Warnings in the east of the country will expire on Tuesday at 8 a.m., and in the west they will remain valid until 8 a.m. 8 on Wednesday.

IMWM alerts – icing

Level 1 warnings for icing have also been issued. They are valid in the following voivodeships: Masovia, Łódź, Lublin, Świętokrzyskie, Podkarpackie, Lesser Poland and in the northern counties of the province. Pomeranian.

In these regions, wet road surfaces and sidewalks are expected to freeze locally after sleet and wet snow, causing them to become icy. The alerts will expire on Tuesday at 9.
