Temperatures are expected to reach around 30 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Two provinces have heat alerts issued by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management.

For several days in the west of Poland, the highest temperature has been maintained. According to the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in social media, on Saturday it was warmest in Legnica (Lower Silesia) and Słubice (Lubuskie), where 29.4 degrees Celsius was measured. On the second day of the weekend, thermometers may indicate over 30 degrees, it was reported.

It turned out to be the coldest on Saturday Heliumwhere the temperature at the hottest moment of the day reached 22.8 degrees Celsius.

Forecasters IMWM issued a first degree heat warning. They apply in the following provinces:

Lubuskieoutside the Strzelce-Drezdenko and Wschowa counties;

West Pomeranianin counties: SzczecinGryfino, Pyrzyce and Myślibórz.

The maximum temperature during the day will be around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature at night will be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius.

Alerts will expire at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
