IMWM issued first degree meteorological alerts. Forecasters warn against heat that may threaten our health and even life. In addition to the scorching heat, there will also be thunderstorms with hail. In places, up to 25 liters of water may fall per square meter. Check where the weather will be dangerous.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued warnings and threat forecasts.

IMWM alerts – storms with hail

First stage alarms before storms hail was reported in the voivodeship West Pomeranian Voivodeshipin all counties except those located in the southeast of the region.

Phenomena are forecasted to be accompanied by heavy rainfall in places with a total of 15-25 liters of water per square meter and wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. There will be hail in places. Alerts IMWM will be valid from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

First degree heat warnings apply in the following voivodeships:

The maximum temperature during the day will range from 28 to 31 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature at night will range from 13 to 16 degrees Celsius. Warnings will be valid until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Forecasters on Thursday no longer predict hot weather. Dangerous phenomena may appear in the south of the country.
