First degree IMWM alerts – icing
Level 1 anti-icing alerts are in effect across the province West Pomeranian Voivodeshipin the following poviats: Koszalin, KoszalinBialogard County.
It is forecast that wet road surfaces and sidewalks will freeze after sleet and wet snow, causing them to become icy. The minimum temperature will be between -4 and -1 degrees Celsius. The alerts will be valid until 9 a.m. on Saturday.
First degree IMWM alerts – heavy snowfall
IMWM also issued alerts for heavy snowfall in the voivodeship Lower Silesiain Jelenia Góra and poviats Jelenia Góra.
Snowfall is forecast, causing an increase in snow cover by approximately 10 centimeters in areas above 600 meters above sea level. The warnings will be in force until 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life.
