First degree hydrological warnings were issued for the entire voivodeship Lesser Poland and almost entire voivodeships: Podkarpackie, Silesian and Świętokrzyskie.
The water level is expected to rise, locally to the high-water zone. In smaller rivers, increases can be violent. In places where particularly intense rainfall occurs, it is possible to exceed the warning states in points.
In Silesia, the alarms will expire at 3 p.m. on Friday, in Małopolska and in the Świętokrzyskie Region at 18 on Friday, and in Podkarpacie at 8 on Saturday.
What is the first degree hydrological warning from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management
Level 1 hydrological warning is moderate. The water levels (observed or forecasted) are in the zone below the warning levels, and a rapid increase in the water level is predicted.
