IMWM issued meteorological warnings. On Saturday, dangerous weather may accompany us throughout the country. Wind gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour, local downpours and hail are forecast.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first-degree meteorological warnings on a three-level, ascending scale.

IMWM first degree warnings – storms

First degree warnings ahead storms have been announced throughout the country.

Storms are forecast in Poland, accompanied by heavy rainfall of 20 to 35 l/sq m in some places. and wind gusts up to 80 km/h. There will be hail locally.

The warnings will be in force on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

What is the IMWM first degree meteorological warning?

The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area, including delays caused by road traffic, disruptions to outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and developments in the weather situation.
