Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first, second and third degree meteorological warnings on a three-point, ascending scale.
IMWM warnings of the third degree – storms
Third degree warnings ahead storms valid in the following voivodeships:
Thunderstorms are forecast, which will be accompanied by heavy rain in places up to 65 liters per square meter, locally up to 80 l/sq. m, and wind gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour. Hail will appear locally. Warnings will be valid until 2 a.m. on Thursday.
IMWM warnings of the second degree – storms
Second degree storm warnings are in effect in the following provinces:
- Lublinin the following counties: Włodawa, Lubartów, Parczew, Radzyń, Biała Podlaska, White Podlasie;
- Masovianin the Łosice district.
In these places, heavy rainfall of up to 35-55 l/sq m and wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are predicted during storms. Local hail will fall. The warnings will expire at 2 a.m. on Thursday.
IMWM first degree warnings – storms
First-degree storm warnings are in force in the province Podlasiein the counties of: Sejny, Augustów, Mońki, Sokółka, Białystok, BialystokWysokie Mazowieckie, Bielsk, Hajnówka, Siemiatycze.
