IMGW has issued weather warnings. In two provinces, Sunday will bring strong gusts of wind, reaching speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour. Check where it may be dangerous.

Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first-degree meteorological warnings on a three-point, ascending scale.

First degree IMWM warnings – strong wind

First-degree strong wind warnings are in force in the following provinces:

  • West Pomeranianin the counties of Kołobrzeg and Koszalin, KoszalinSlavic;
  • Pomeranianin the following counties: Słupsk, SlupskLębork, Wejherowo, Puck, Gdansk, Gdynia, SopotGdansk, Nowy Dwór.

In these regions, strong winds from the west and north-west are forecast, with average speeds of up to 45 kilometres per hour, with gusts of up to 75 km/h.

Alarms will be valid from 9am to 6pm on Sundays.

First-degree warning predicts conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and threaten health and life.
