First degree warnings IMGW – strong frost
Yellow alarms apply in voivodships:
- Pomeranianin the following poviats: Słupsk, Bytów, Kościerski, Kartuski, Wejherowo, and Lęborskie;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipin the following poviats: Ełk, Olecki, Gołdap;
- Podlasiein the following poviats: Siemiatycki, Bielsko, Hajnowski, Białystok, Moniecki, Sokólski, Grajewski, Augustów, Suwałki, and SuwałkiSejnyński;
- Podkarpackiein the following poviats: Sanok, Leski, Bieszczady;
- Lesser Polandin the following poviats: Nowotarski, Tatra;
- Silesianin the following poviats: Cieszyn, Żywiec;

In these regions, the minimum temperature is forecasted at night from -17 degrees C to -14 degrees Celsius, and in the foothill regions locally about -20 degrees C.
In the Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Podlasie, Lower Silesian and Lubuskie voivodships, warning will be valid until 8 and 9 on Thursday. In turn, in the province Śląski, Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie will be up to 9 o'clock on Friday.

What are the first degree IMGW warnings
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal.
