Warta Poznań terribly started the spring round of the first league and lost on Sunday with GKS Tychy 1: 3. It was for her the third defeat in a row, which could significantly reduce her advantage over the relegation zone. As it turns out, sports results are not the only problem of the club.

Warta Poznań sent a footballer to juniors. A surprising reason

Just before the start of this season, Damian Gąska joined Warta, who at the end of June ended with Górnik Łęczna. In autumn he played a total of 19 matches in new colors, in which he failed to note any hits or even assistance. Apparently, the club authorities are not satisfied with it, as the portal informed about MATERZYKI.PL.

“Warta moved the 28-year-old to juniors,” it was reported, pointing out that Gąska would train with the U-19 team, because the club currently has no reserves. As a reason for such a decision, it was stated that the player must “improve the sports form”. The portal revealed, however, that Warta wants to get rid of the geese and such a move is to force him to terminate the contract by agreement of the parties.

In recent months, not only Warta has decided on such action. The loudest example is, of course, Arkadiusz Pyrka, who, although one of the best players of Piast Gliwice in the autumn round, will probably not play a minute in the spring. All because he did not extend the contract expired at the end of June. Although Górnik Zabrze or Widzew Łódź was interested in borrowing him, Piast set the prohibitive conditions and the transaction did not take place.

Warta Poznań after the 20th league queues takes 13th place in the 1st league table with 19 points. However, he has only two points of advantage over the Brave Głogów in the relegation zone. The next meeting will be played by Piotr Klepczarek on Monday, February 24, when they will face Stalowa Wola.
