Indiana household of slain US service member in Kabul airport assault says ‘he had such a stupendous soul’

An Indiana household is reeling from the lack of U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Humberto A. Sanchez, one of many 13 U.S. service members killed in final week’s terrorist attack at Kabul’s airport.

Sanchez’s mom, Coral Briseño, who lives in Logansport, Ind., advised FOX 59 she had identified her son was serving to guard Kabul’s airport as folks had been being evacuated. When Marines got here to the household’s home just a few days later, she feared the worst.
