The cybersecurity team at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF CSIRT) warns against fraudsters impersonating InPost. Cybercriminals send fake emails. InPost recommends “increased attention and caution”.

CSIRT KNF posted a warning on social media. “WARNING! Cybercriminals send fake e-mails impersonating @InPostPL and informing about a failed delivery” – we read in the post on Twitter.

Representatives of the team explained that “entering the link leads to a dangerous page where scammers are phishing for payment card details”. “Don’t get robbed!” – they appeal.

Representatives of the InPost company also referred to the new activities of cybercriminals. “We recommend increased attention and caution when entering your data or “clicking” on suspicious messages or messages. Offensive of scammers

Cybercriminals also impersonate banks. PKO BP has warned customers in recent days against fake text messages with information about underpayment to the package. Credit Agricole customers were also targeted by scammers.
