InPost will introduce an increase in the prices of services for Allegro from the end of November 2023. President’s announcement

It is not worth leaving the purchase of Christmas gifts to the last minute. According to the statement of the president of InPost, RafaƂ Brzoska, during a teleconference for analysts, InPost will introduce an increase in the prices of services for Allegro this month.

– The increase will take place at the end of November – said the president when asked about the increase in prices of InPost services for Allegro. He added that talks on this subject between InPost and Allegro are ongoing and are being conducted in a “friendly” atmosphere.

According to previous information, InPost and Allegro concluded a 7-year agreement in 2020, which assumed annual price indexation from November 2022 based on two indicators: inflation and the increase in salary costs.

From November 2, 2022, InPost increased the prices of services for Allegro by 12%.

Change of price list on Allegro

Earlier, Allegro announced a change in the price of the monthly Allegro Smart! subscription. – from PLN 10.99 to PLN 14.99. It was introduced on October 16 and applies only to unpaid months. The company has not increased the price of the annual Smart! subscription, which is PLN 59.90.

Customers who have a monthly Allegro Smart! service were not automatically extended under the new conditions.

Last month, in a message to sellers, Allegro also announced a change in fees for the delivery of parcels outside the Smart service. “It will be up to sellers to decide whether and to what extent they want to take these changes into account in fees for buyers once they come into force,” the company’s press team told us in response.

Allegro and InPost

Allegro is one of the leading e-commerce platforms on the Polish market. It competes with, among others, OLX, Amazon and Vinted.

InPost, apart from traditional courier services, also offers delivery and storage of parcels in parcel lockers. Similar solutions are also provided by Allegro, Orlen, Poczta Polska, DHL and AliExpress.
