There are disruptions to aircraft traffic at the Gdańsk airport on Friday. This is due to the difficult weather situation.
Spokeswoman of the Gdańsk Airport. Lech Wałęsa Agnieszka Michajłow informed that on Friday, due to the prevailing weather conditions, the KLM plane from Amsterdam, which was scheduled to land in Gdańsk at At 17:30 it was redirected to Warsaw.
She emphasized that there are also delays in de-icing planes. – Every plane must be de-iced before take-off. The current problem is that with such strong winds, the deicer cannot approach the plane. We have had major delays since the morning, said Agnieszka Michajłow.
According to the information on the website of the Gdańsk Airport. Lech Wałęsa, delays in landing were noted by, among others, Wizz Air planes from Malmo, Haugesund and Hamburg and Ryanair planes from Oslo, Copenhagen and Alicante.
Among the planes departing from Gdańsk, delays on Friday were recorded by, among others: Wizz Air planes to Hamburg, Copenhagen and Stavanger and Ryanair planes to Wrocław, Milan and Stockholm.
