Tobiasz Bocheński is the son of the famous literary critic Tomasz Bocheński. However, he did not follow in his footsteps and immediately after graduating from law school, he entered politics. In February 2024, he was announced as the Law and Justice candidate for the mayor of Warsaw in the local elections, but he lost to Rafał Trzaskowski, who was running for re-election.
