On Monday, Apple unveiled the long-awaited, AI-enhanced iPhone 16. Although the new flagship offers many new features, the smartphone revolution was clearly missing. How much does the iPhone 16 cost and what does it offer?
Leaks about new iPhones that have been appearing recently have indicated that Apple has refrained from revolution in favor of evolution. Therefore, at the premiere of the new flagship, we saw another classic model, but enriched with new, useful functions.
The new iPhone 16 is packed with tools based on artificial intelligence, which is to support, among other things, the operation of the camera. AI will help identify objects in photos and display information about them. In addition, it will allow for generating emojis, images or correcting errors in texts.
Test version of a new AI tool called Apple Intelligence will be available in iPhone 16 from next month. Importantly, initially only for residents USA. Next year it will appear in Chinese, French, Spanish and Japanese language versions.
The fall launch of Apple's new product did not bring any surprises, and much of the information about the announced model appeared a few weeks earlier. This meant that the value of Apple shares on Wall Street did not change significantly, stabilizing at $220.91.

What does the iPhone 16 offer and how much does it cost?
The first change in the design of the Apple flagship is the vertical layout of the main camera. On the right edge of the housing, there is a Camera Control button, allowing for efficient setting of depth, exposure or frame.
The main sensor with a resolution of 48 MP will be responsible for photos, as well as a sensor with a wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. The heart of the device will be the 6-core Apple A18 Pro processor.

- iPhone 16 Plus (6.7 inches) – from PLN 4,999,
- iPhone 16 Pro (6.3 inches) – from PLN 5,299,
- iPhone 16 Pro Max (6.9 inches) – from PLN 6,299.
Pre-sale of the new model will start in Poland this Friday, while the full sale The sale is scheduled for September 20.
Apple also unveiled new watches and AirPods with health-focused features, though there were also improvements to the devices’ design. The new smartwatches are expected to detect chronic conditions such as sleep apnea or respond to emergencies such as falls.

Futuristic competitor from China
On Tuesday, the day after the premiere of the new iPhone, the Huawei Mate XT was presented. In contrast to Apple's flagship, the new device is described as one of the most futuristic smartphones.
The Mate XT is the world's first triple-foldable phone, which allows it to go from a standard smartphone to a large, panoramic tablet. The Chinese flagship will be available in two colors (black and red) and with internal memory options of 512 GB or 1 TB. The price of the Mate XT is not yet known.
