Iran, drones. The US imposed sanctions on Iranian drone and missile makers

The US Treasury Department announced another package of sanctions against the management of Qods Aviation Industries, the company that produces Iranian drones sold to Russia and the head of the organization that oversees the production of Iranian ballistic missiles.

As announced in the communiqué, six members of the management board of Qods Aviation Industries, a defense company responsible for the design and production of, among others, the Mohajer-6 unmanned aerial vehicles, which it uses, have been placed on the sanctions list. In addition, restrictions were imposed on the director of the Aviation Industry Organization, the Iranian entity that oversees ballistic missile programs.
