In the Negev Desert in southern Israel, a seven-year-old girl was injured by shrapnel after intercepting an Iranian ballistic missile over the area. She was taken to hospital and her condition is serious.

There were no other reports of people being injured in the Iranian attack, the Times of Israel reported. The website previously reported that the first person injured in the attack was a 10-year-old boy from a Bedouin village near the city of Arad. However, he later replaced these reports with information about an injured girl.

As a result of the Iranian attack, “light damage to the infrastructure” of the Nevatim military base in southern Israel was also reported, the Times of Israel reported. – The base is operational and continues to perform its tasks.
