Iran must give up the concept of nuclear weapons – said the President of the United States Donald Trump. When asked if the US response to Tehran's further efforts about nuclear weapons may include an attack, he replied that “of course”.

Trump also said that “Iran was rinsed” during his first term in the White House. – I want them to be a rich, happy country. The only thing, (…) very simple – cannot have nuclear weapons. And they must work quickly. They are very close (possession – ed.) At the moment, but they will not have it and if we have to do something very sharply, we will play sharply. I don't do it for us. I do it for the whole world. These are radicalized people and cannot have nuclear weapons – said the US president.

Trump, asked if a possible USA response may include an attack, replied: – Of course yes.

US negotiations – Iran

After Saturday talks in the capital of Oman, representatives of the Iran and US delegation, as well as the host of the meeting, the head of Oman Diplomacy Badr al-Busaidi, assured that the negotiations went in a “good, friendly atmosphere” and had a “constructive” character.

The meeting lasting over two and a half hours took place in the intermediate formula – each of the parties stayed in a separate room, and the news between them was transmitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman. After completing the negotiations, Aragczi personally talked to the head of the American delegation, a special envoy of President Donald Trump for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff. The next round of negotiations will take place on April 19 in Rome.

Stranged relations between Washington and Tehran are the result of, among others further development of the Iranian nuclear program. The authorities in Tehran ensure that their atomic program serves only civil purposes, and the possession of nuclear weapons is contrary to the principles of Islam.
