Local firefighter Alfie Devine stressed that the wreckage could not be seen from the road, which is why help had no chance of arriving in time.

Marcin N.'s death shocked his loved ones, as well as the fans of the Raków Częstochowa club, to which he belonged. Now, the family of the deceased faces another challenge – bringing the body to Polishso that he could rest in his native Częstochowa.

“Marcin was an only child. He was raised by his grandmother after his mother died when he was very young. We are looking for support to bring Marcin home… Any help would be greatly appreciated,” wrote friends of the 50-year-old.
