In the search for the “second Andrzej Duda”, the PiS president is currently undecided. The list is about to narrow down, and almost immediately a local government official enters the picture. This is Luciusz Nadbereżny, president of Stalowa Wola. He himself argues that he has no such ambition or plans.
– I value your professor very highly. An exceptionally talented man. I think it has a great future. The only question is whether he is able to win, especially in the second round – said Jarosław Kaczyński about Przemysław Czarnek's possible candidacy in the elections.
To win in the second round, the PiS candidate would also have to have a chance to win the votes of the moderate electorate. Przemysław Czarnek is an extreme politician. Only the PiS primaries he would win easily. However, he has a great desire to run for office. So big that he has no qualms about organizing a political meeting in a church.
– I don't know if I have a black horse or a white one. Research is currently underway, said the president of Law and Justice.
For a long time, the “dark horse” among PiS candidates seemed to be Karol Nawrocki, head of the Institute of National Remembrance, which – as PiS hopes – would also attract supporters of the Confederation. – The office of the President of the Republic of Poland is a great honor and a great matter. This is a natural thing, admits Karol Nawrocki.
A candidate like Andrzej Duda would guarantee cooperation and loyalty to PiS. Tobiasz Bocheński still has big chances. He is in PiS, he is and is supposed to be loyal to PiS, and he is not extreme. He could promise moderation, unity and community, like Andrzej Duda once did.

Luciusz Nadbereżny is simply famous in PiS

There is someone else who Jarosław Kaczyński thinks and speaks so highly of. This is Luciusz Nadbereżny, president of Stalowa Wola. – A truly wonderful family. Once upon a time, one would say that they were princes. Times are different today, but let's hope that one day he will be king – says the PiS president.
“He must be young, tall, impressive, handsome. Voters place these image requirements high. He must have a family” – this is how Jarosław Kaczyński described, in his opinion, the ideal PiS candidate. This is what he said about Lucjusz Nadbereżny: “we are dealing with this extraordinary gentleman who is standing here next to me and his extraordinary wife, but also with this wonderful marital achievement.”

Jarosław Kaczyński did not rule out revealing the candidate, primarily his own and the party's, in the second half of November.
