Civic Platform deputy Izabela Leszczyna and Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Norbert Maliszewski talked in “Fakty po Faktach” about whether Adam Glapiński is the independent president of the National Bank of Poland. Maliszewski said yes and added that he “thinks badly about attacking the NBP president”. Hazel, on the other hand, expressed the opposite opinion and pointed out that the head of the central bank “repeatedly praised the government” and “criticized the opposition”.
Former Deputy Minister of Finance, and currently MP of the Civic Platform, Izabela Leszczyna, and Secretary of State in the Prime Minister’s Chancellery and head of the Government Analysis Center, Norbert Maliszewski, talked in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 about the president of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapiński.
Maliszewski argued that “the president of the NBP is an independent president”. – On the other hand, I do not judge the attack on the NBP president, because the monetary policy pursued, for example, depends on his authority – he said. According to him, “this is a very bad standard, which is being implemented by Donald Tusk because by attacking him, he undermines trust”.
The guest of TVN24 said that “the government conducts its fiscal policy, i.e. a policy that is to be in harmony with the policy of the NBP, i.e. helping Poles in this difficult time inflation“But – in his opinion -” Donald Tusk says that if he manages to win the elections, his only recipe to fight this inflation is the person of Donald Tusk. “
Leszczyna: Glapiński is a party-dependent president, he has proved it many times
Leszczyna assessed, however, that “president Glapiński is a president dependent on a political party, he has repeatedly proved it”.
– In fact, before Donald Tusk said anything about Adam Glapiński, Adam Glapiński praised the government many times, (…) he criticized the opposition, he criticized the European Union, and he argued that we do not need any money from the European Union at all – she said. She added that at the last conference the head of the NBP “attacked Germany“to” divert attention from the rampant high prices, to how hard it is for Poles to live. “
MP AFTER she also pointed out that Glapiński “said in June that he was finishing these increases in rates (interest – ed.), And a few days ago he said that after the holidays they will probably raise rates further. “We have never had such chaotic message and such chaotic communication in the central bank since Poland is an independent and sovereign country,” she assessed.
