On the night from Saturday to Sunday, a house fire broke out in Ostrów (Otwock poviat). According to the fire department, no one was injured in the incident. 43 firefighters participated in the firefighting operation.
The fire department received a call about the incident at 11:35 p.m. on Saturday. – When the hosts arrived at the site, a developed fire of a wooden single-family house with a photovoltaic installation was found. The fire covered the front elevation, the attic, the roof of the building and two cars parked nearby, Maciej Łodygowski from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Otwock said.
The firefighter said no one was injured in the incident. He added that access to the source of the fire, which was located in the attic, was difficult. A hole had to be cut in the roof to control the fire.
– A total of 43 firefighters, i.e. 12 hosts, participated in the firefighting operation – Łodygowski calculated. “Our operations ended after four in the morning,” he added.
