Dozens of Palestinians were killed on Saturday evening in the Israeli bombing of the Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. According to Reuters information, these are mainly women and children. Many people were injured.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA, quoted by Reuters, reported that 51 Palestinians were killed. The AFP agency writes about at least 30 deaths and about 100 people injured.
According to the Palestinian ministry, the direct target of the Israeli bombing were civilian houses, which was confirmed by an eyewitness cited by AFP, who stated that several houses were destroyed.
Maghazi is located in the third largest muhafaza in Palestine – Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
