This is not how it was supposed to look. A truce between Israel and Hamas hung on the Italian, and both sides accuse each other again. On Sunday, the Israeli authorities blocked all deliveries of goods to the Gaza Strip, including the first need, such as food and medicines.

– This help that gets into the hands of Hamas is not humanitarian help. It is only a tool, a means to continue the war against Israel. This is currently the main source of income for Hamas in Gaza – indicates Gideon Saar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel.

Hamas defends himself against these allegations, indicating that during the first phase of the agreement he released more hostages than assumed. Tel Aviv decisions to suspend deliveries with humanitarian aid are criticized not only by human rights activists.

– Israel's decision may have humanitarian consequences and therefore we call to continue negotiations regarding the second stage of weapon suspension. Despite the situation lasting over a month, the situation in the Gaza Strip is still catastrophic. According to data from the British Red Cross – over 96 percent of Gaza's inhabitants suffer from malnutrition. There is a lack of electricity and water, which creates a risk of mass epidemic. In this situation, even this help, which recently flowed into gauze, is only a drop in the sea of ​​needs.

– All ingredients of our kitchen are supplied from the outside. Food and drinks. We hope that the passages will remain open, because only in this way we will have the opportunity to prepare meals for the needy – says Alaa Shab, a volunteer.
