Israeli strike on faculty kills Al Jazeera cameraman in southern Gaza, community says

CAIRO — An Israeli strike killed a Palestinian cameraman for the TV community Al Jazeera and wounded its chief Gaza correspondent Friday as they reported at a faculty within the south of the besieged territory, the community stated.

Cameraman Samer Abu Daqqa and correspondent Wael Dahdouh had gone to the college within the southern metropolis of Khan Younis after it was hit by a strike earlier within the day. Whereas they had been there, an Israeli drone hit the college with a second strike, the community stated.

Dahdouh was closely wounded in his arm and shoulder, whereas Abu Daqqa fell bleeding to the bottom. Talking from a hospital mattress, Dahdouh instructed Al Jazeera he was capable of flee, bleeding, from the college and located a number of ambulance staff.
