The first days of March this year were enrolled in the history of Shanghai. On Saturday and Sunday, the maximum temperature in the city located in the east of China exceeded 28 degrees Celsius. According to local media, this is the warmest beginning of this month in the history of measurements, i.e. from 1873.

According to meteorological services, on Saturday the maximum temperature at the Shanghai center was 28 degrees Celsius. It was even warmer on Sunday. At 14 o'clock the Xujiahui observatory recorded 28.5 degrees Celsius, and thermometers in the suburban areas of Baoshan and Qingpu indicated even 29 degrees C. As reported by the Global Times daily, this is the hottest beginning of March from 1873, i.e. from the moment of data collection.

At such a high temperature, the inhabitants of Shanghai came out of their homes to take advantage of the almost summer aura. Photos of children playing parks, people eating ice cream, dressed in T -shirts and shorts appeared in the media.

Drastic change

According to local meteorologists, there will be cool in the following days, and the temperature may fall by up to 15 degrees Celsius. Experts appealed to residents for caution and for appropriate clothing in connection with strong temperature fluctuations and forecasted storms with rainfall.
