The Baltic Opera Festival is one of the largest open-air opera events in Europe. The most famous Italian operas will be heard on the stage of the Forest Opera in Sopot. This year's edition of the festival starts on July 20.

The Baltic Opera Festival was created on the initiative of the outstanding singer Tomasz Konieczny – this year, guests of the Forest Opera in Sopot will be able to listen to Giacomo Puccini's work “Turandot” and Richard Wagner's opera “The Flying Dutchman”.

Younger audiences will be able to listen to the story of Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk.

The event accompanying this year's edition of the Baltic Opera Festival will be a concert at the Crist shipyard in Gdynia, during which you will be able to hear Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony performed by the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra and the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir under the musical direction of Keri-Lynn Wilson.
