Italy has relaxed entry rules since Wednesday, June 1. It is not necessary to provide an EU vaccination certificate or a negative test result.

Restrictions in Italy
From May 1 this year. the restrictions related to the coronavirus have been loosened. Since the beginning of last month, the requirement to cover the mouth and nose in confined spaces has ceased to apply.
However, travelers must bear in mind a few exceptions. Masks are compulsory in public transport, hospitals, sports halls, cinemas and theaters. An FFP2 type mask is required.
The above obligation does not apply to: children up to the age of six; people with diseases or disabilities that exclude the use of the mask, as well as those who interact with the above-mentioned people are in a state of similar incompatibility; the moment of practicing sports.
