Sportiello: an important step that sets a precedent

“Today, an important step was taken, above all because it sets a precedent and sends a message to the country and to all women,” Sportiello said.

“From today, since the highest Italian institutions allow female employees to breastfeed their children in the workplace, no woman, regardless of her profession, can be denied this right,” she added.

– No mother will have to stop breastfeeding to go back to work again. It is crucial that this remains solely a woman’s decision, stressed the MP.
