Storms with heavy rain and strong winds have caused chaos in the Italian province of South Tyrol. There was a landslide there. The rivers also flooded and swept away the wooden bridges.

Violent storms struck South Tyrol, the northernmost province of Italy, overnight from Saturday to Sunday. After heavy rains, a landslide occurred in the mountain town of Colfosco. Massive amounts of rocks and mud fell on cars in the parking lot at the foot of the Tridentine Ferrata trail. Fortunately, no one was injured, according to the local fire department.

Also in Parcines, Verdins and Scena, the fire brigade carried out various interventions in connection with landslides and flooding.
