Zieliński has been a player of the Legia Warsaw Academy for the last two years. It was in the colors of this club that he performed in the UEFA Youth League, he also won the Polish championship under 19. In January last year he took part in the grouping of the first team.
Information on obtaining Zieliński was also confirmed by VFL Wolfsburg. On the website of the German club we read: “Vfl Wolfsburg acquired a young goalkeeper from Poland before the new season. Jakub Zieliński, a 17-year-old goalkeeper playing in the Polish national team U17, joined the green and white from Legia Warsaw on the basis of a contract applicable until 2028”.
