The 35-year-old from time to time informs that she ends her career. The current end is to be its last, but – as TVP Sport journalists calculated – will be the third. The first of them was to be after the Olympic Games in Tokyo, then after Paris. Now she emphasized what decision she made.
– I decided, after many persuasion of my loved ones, that I just want to try. You see, athletes usually cease to be because they become too weak or because of injury. You rarely say goodbye as you want. I want to try. We'll see what will come of it – she said in an interview with TVP Sport.

Athlete plans for this season
The athlete at the Olympic Games did not run, so it also convinced her for one more year. “In this way my career was to end with a” not to the finish? No. I will end her on my own terms ” – we read in the website.
The sprinter also published an emotional entry after the Olympic Games in Paris, in which she said goodbye to this event. “For a few of us this is not the end, for a few of us it is a beginning … For me, certainly a difficult and emotional farewell to the Games. 4 times and that's enough” – she wrote on Instagram.
This summer, Iga Baumgart-Witan will start and have ambitious plans. – I dream about the medal of the Polish championships. Is it possible? Possible. Is it easy to implement? Absolutely not. But I want him. And if it succeeded, I would go to the world championships to Tokyo. And it would be a beautiful buckle, preferably if we were all fast in Japan. Quick and healthy, because you never know here – she emphasized.
