IMWM warns against a number of weather-related threats. Level 1 alerts are in effect for strong winds, downpours, icing and heavy snowfall. Forecasts show that several centimeters of snow may fall in the north of the country. The roads will become slippery and dangerous.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first-degree warnings on a three-level, increasing scale.

IMWM warnings – heavy snowfall

First degree alerts for heavy snowfall have been issued in the following voivodeships:

  • Pomeranianin the western half of the region;

In the province Świętokrzyskie alerts will be valid from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
