A 21-year-old from Krakow heard six charges in connection with burglary and theft. The burglar looted mainly money and documents, as well as a Volvo car. The value of losses was estimated at almost 90 thousand. zloty.
Police announced Wednesday that he had been arrested and charged. The burglary, for which the 21-year-old will answer, took place from August 30 to September 10 last year. on four properties in different towns of the Iwanowice commune (Małopolskie Voivodeship).
The police are looking for the victims
After securing evidence and interviewing witnesses, police determined that one person was behind the crimes. In the course of further activities, they found a stolen Volvo parked in a public car park in Krakow. A 21-year-old resident of this city was detained in April at his place of residence. The police found some of the stolen items in his possession, which, like the car, were handed over to the owners.
The Kraków Śródmieście-Wschód District Prosecutor’s Office applied preventive measures against the suspect in the form of police supervision and a ban on leaving the country. Investigators are now verifying whether the 21-year-old has committed other similar crimes in the Krakow poviat. The case is in development.
