I have appointed Jacek Gdański as the new President of the Polish Audit Oversight Agency: a statutory auditor, member of audit committees and supervisory boards of public trust entities, former member of the Audit Oversight Commission, experienced manager in the area of finance and risk,” he wrote on Friday Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański in his profile on the X platform.
Personnel changes. “He has no competence”
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Finance announced that he had dismissed the former deputy minister of finance and Chief Spokesperson for Public Finance Discipline Piotr Patkowski from the position of president of PANA. “Mr. Patkowski does not have the competences necessary to perform such an important function for the Polish economy,” Domański wrote.
