Jacek Siewiera: Rafał Trzaskowski in his program was closer to the continuity of the state's strategic thought

The security of the Commonwealth and what fate awaits the country, takes place today in Ukraine – said former head of the National Security Bureau Jacek Siewiera in “Facts after Facts”. In his opinion, the subject of Ukraine will affect the term of the future president. Siewiera also explained why he wanted to support Rafał Trzaskowski.

Former head of the National Security Office reserve lieutenant colonel, habilitated doctor Jacek Siewiera was nominated by Andrzej Duda, but during the campaign he offered support Rafał Trzaskowskiif he became president. In “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 he explained why it happened.

Let us briefly remind: it began with the fact that during the panel at the Polish Economic Congress of Siewiera he was asked by the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak: – Minister, dear Jacek, Rzeczpospolita needs you again. I would just like to ask (…) if President Rafał Trzaskowski made a proposal to cooperate with the minister, would the minister accept such an offer?

– Yes, if President Rafał Trzaskowski turns for help, support, my knowledge, my network, my possibilities, I am at the disposal of the president – the former head of the BBN replied.

Jacek Siewiera about the “foundation of security” of Poland

– Until recently I was the head of the National Security Bureau (…). I had my participation in the way of conducting state security policy, also internationally – pointed out on Friday on TVN24 Siewiera.

– But the topic concerning Ukraine actually affects the entire decade of the future office, perhaps two terms of the future president. And in my opinion, this continuity of strategic thought, which has its roots in the president's work Lech Kaczyńskiand was implemented with an iron consistency – often very risky, daring and extremely effectively, leaving a historic trace – by President Duda, she was reflected in the position and in the program of Rafał Trzaskowski. He emphasized that “the future of Ukraine in the North Atlantic Alliance is the foundation of the future of Europe, the security of Europe.” – The foundation of the survival of the state, which today has a million army and production of about a million three hundred, a million four hundred thousand drones a year – he continued, talking about Ukraine.

He noticed that Russia “It produces approximately one and a half million different drone classes” annually. When asked whether he strives to say that Russia – if she won the war – takes over the Ukrainian potential, Siewiera replied: – This is not just the potential of the army, this is production potential.

– Today Ukraine produces three thousand drones a day. Drones that he can send to the front and use. If this number doubles and is used against Europe, This is a deadly threat that the president talked about Joe Biden and which is also hanging over Europe today he continued. – Hence, this continuity of strategic thought and maintaining the right position is of fundamental importance for the security of the Commonwealth – he noted.

Siewierza was still asked if Karol Nawrocki did not understand it whether it was just an element of the campaign. – We are talking about President Elek, who is just starting to celebrate his mandate, so I absolutely do not feel entitled to refer to the question in any way – he distanced.

Cenckiewicz with a potential head of the National Security Bureau?

Who will become the new boss of the BBN when President Elek Karol Nawrocki take power? Among others, historian Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz appears on the Stock Exchange. – However, he is definitely a focused historian and very uncompromising in his work. (…) If in this rumor, in this thesis there were even a grain of truths that he is germinating, and becoming the head of the National Security Bureau – certainly in this position, in such a position, the professor will have to reach for a set of skills completely different than those that are necessary in the work of an uncompromising historian – he assessed Siewiera.

– Because it is a need to compromise. The need to sit at the table with people with whom I do not agree or I have to cooperate because I am full office. Today, there are many people in the service, whom Professor Cenckiewicz assesses very critically. There is generally no tenderness, and they still make executive decisions and political decisions regarding the security of this country – he emphasized.
