After a domestic dispute, the woman was taken to hospital. She lost part of her ear. Police officers from Jaktorów (Masovia) detained her husband in this case. Their findings show that for over half a year the man had been abusing his wife, using insults, threats, physical violence and preventing her from leaving the house.

A few days ago, police officers from Jaktorów received a report about an injured woman on one of the properties. – A district police officer and police officers from the patrol and intervention department immediately went to the scene. They determined that a moment earlier, her drunk husband had started a quarrel, during which he bit off part of her ear – reports Asp. staff. The officers treated the woman and called for medical help. They also arrested a 34-year-old man. – The aggressive man was quickly overpowered and taken to the unit. The woman was taken to hospital – says Asp. staff. Zych.

During the intervention, it turned out that the 34-year-old was under the influence of alcohol. – The detainee's sobriety test showed two permille in his body – says the policewoman.

Arrest for a suspect accused of abusing his wife

– During further activities after the victim reported that her husband was abusing her, the police found that for over half a year, the 34-year-old had been frequently using mental and physical violence against her. Their manifestations included insulting, threatening, but also beating the woman and preventing her from leaving the house – enumerates Asp. staff. Zych.

The spokeswoman for the Grodzisk police emphasizes that the officers collected detailed materials in this case and forwarded them to the District Prosecutor's Office in Żyrardów along with a request to arrest the suspect of abusing his wife. The court agreed to their request. According to his decision, the man will spend the next three months in pre-trial detention.
